DETROIT - The streaking Columbus Blue Jackets didnt mind working overtime again to ear yet another win.Sergei Bobrovsky stopped 30 shots through overtime and two more in a shootout as the Blue Jackets outlasted the Detroit Red Wings 1-0 on Tuesday night for their seventh straight victory.Boone Jenner and Ryan Johansen both scored in the tiebreaker for Columbus against Jimmy Howard, who made 29 saves. Detroit has lost four straight.Columbus has three shootout wins during its streak, including one against Pittsburgh on Saturday. The Blue Jackets also have two overtime victories during the run. They now own the NHLs longest active winning streak.Columbus coach Todd Richards had an easy explanation for his clubs recent success.Team commitment, he said. We played a team game.Bob was good, but the 18 guys who were skating in front of him were working hard, too.Columbus, which dug itself an early hole, isnt thinking about the post-season yet despite wins over three division leaders during its streak.Well keep building, definitely, Bobrovsky said. But weve still got a lot of work ahead of us to make the playoffs.Pavel Datsyuk had the lone shootout goal for Detroit, which has dropped three consecutive home games in shootouts and fell to 1-6 in tiebreakers this season.I thought it was a very tightly checked game by both sides, said Howard, who has been the losing goalie in every shootout. They just found a way in the skills competition.Bobrovsky allowed five goals to Detroit in a Nov. 18 shutout loss in Columbus. The teams combined for 13 shots in the first period and had better scoring chances in the second.Bobrovsky stopped Justin Abdelkaders point-blank attempt at 3:21 of the period, and the Blue Jackets narrowly missed a goal five minutes later when Nick Folignos shot hit the left post, struck Howards back, and bounced out of the crease. The Blue Jackets Corey Tropp had a good look close to the net midway through the third, but Howard corralled the puck before Tropp could get much on the shot. The best overtime chance came when James Wisniewski fired wide of an open net early in the period.Detroit coach Mike Babcock felt bad for his goalie and offered a critical opinion of the shootout. What I dont like is Howie stood on his head and leaves the rink feeling like he didnt win, Babcock said. They dont have a home run derby at the end of a tied ballgame, because it doesnt make any sense. But it is what it is, and there are points on the line. Weve got to find a way. Howie needs to get a win, thats it.NOTES: Columbus D Fedor Tyutin returned from the injured list after missing 13 games with a knee injury. The team made room on the roster by assigning forward Kerby Rychel to Springfield of the AHL. ... Abdelkader (separated shoulder) was back in Detroits lineup after missing seven games, and defenceman Danny DeKeyser (upper body) returned after missing two. ... Forward Jeremy Morin made his Blue Jackets debut after being acquired from Chicago on Sunday. ... Detroit forward Johan Franzen was scratched because of the flu. Tom Waddle Youth Jersey . Raonic, the No. 8 seed from Thornhill, Ont., had 18 aces in the match. He needed one hour 39 minutes to complete the victory. Mike Singletary Bears Jersey . -- Phil Mickelson came to the St. http://www.chicagobearfootballauthentic.com/authentic-brian-urlacher-bears-jersey/ . - Jacksonville Jaguars defensive end Jason Babin is now a free agent. David Montgomery Jersey . The Flames are in the midst of a six-game slide (0-5-1), their longest losing streak since an 0-6-3 skid from Jan. 11-28, 2010. They havent won since Nov. 3 in Chicago and most recently went winless on a three-game homestand. Tom Waddle Jersey . The Boston Celtics hadnt played since the All-Star break. So the Suns 100-94 victory over Boston Wednesday night was an uphill affair, with Phoenix relying on balance rather than its trademark high energy.GLENDALE, Ariz. - Arizonas struggling penalty kill allowed Toronto to nearly rally from a three-goal deficit. One big kill and the goal that came right after gave the Coyotes the cushion they needed for their second winning streak of the season.Mike Smith stopped 28 shots and Sam Gagner scored 30 seconds after Arizona killed off a long two-man advantage, lifting the Coyotes to a 3-2 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs Tuesday night.A little dangerous situation when its 5-on-3 like that, Coyotes centre Antoine Vermette said. But I think we managed the situation well and it gave us confidence.Arizona scored six goals in its last game and kept its offensive surge rolling, going up 3-0 by early second period against Toronto goalie James Reimer. Gagne scored in his second straight game in the first and Martin Erat added a goal later in the period. Vermette scored in the second period, giving him four points in two games.Though the goal by Gagne wasnt the game-winner, it was a huge momentum moment for the Coyotes, right after they killed off a two-man advantage by Toronto that lasted 1:06.You gain momentum if you kill a 5-on-3 like that off, Smith said. We did a heck of a job to keep them off the board there, for the most part. The Coyotes needed it.Though the penalty kill came up big in the first period, the Maple Leafs rallied against it to pull within 3-2.And they did it against Arizonas penalty kill unit, which was 27th in the NHL, entering the game at 74.3 per cent.Dion Paneuf scored with a man advantage in the second period and Cody Franson added another late in the third to give the Maple Leafs a chance. They couldnt finish it off. They were unable to get anything else against Smith, whos allowed seven goals in three starts after giving up six goals three times his first six gamesPhil Kessel had a pair of assists for the Maple Leafs and Reimer stopped 30 shots after facing 47 against Chicago his last start.Turtle start. It was slower than slow, Maple Leafs coach Randy Carlyle said. No explanation for that other than it seemed we were in neutral and they were in third gear. We were chasing and we finally got our legs under us as the hockey game wennt on.ddddddddddddArizona broke out of its season-long offensive funk on Sunday, equally its goal total of the five previous games combined in a 6-5 road win over Washington that ended a three-game losing streak. The Coyotes picked up right where they left off.Gagner appeared to get a boost playing on a line with Lauri Korpikoski and Mikkel Boedker against Washington, scoring his first goal with the Coyotes.Korpikoski set him up again in the first period against Toronto, stealing a pass from Jake Gardiner behind the goal and feeding it out front to Gagner, who beat Reimer with a one-timer.Erat made it 2-0 late in the period, circling from behind the net for a backhanded shot that caromed off Toronto defenceman Stephane Robidas past Reimer.Vermette scored early in the second period when he missed a shot wide, came up with the puck again and sneaked in a wraparound before Reimer could get to the post.Arizona was good in its own end at the start, holding Toronto to three shots on goal in the first period, none in the final 12 1-2 minutes. We didnt get off to the start that we wanted to, Toronto left wing James van Riemsdyk said. They were sharper, played their game plan a little more effectively and we were too loose with the puck. When the Maple Leafs finally turned up the pressure Smith made some big saves, including one on his back to stop Tyler Bozak.Toronto broke through on a power play early in the second period when Phaneuf beat Mike Smith from above the left circle on a power play.Franson pulled the Maple Leafs within one with 6:07 left, beating Smith with a one-timer after a nifty pass by van Riemsdyk. The Coyotes held on, winning two straight games for just the second time this season. It was big for us to win a game at home and hopefully get going in the right direction, Coyotes captain Shane Doan said.Notes: With his goal against Washington on Sunday, Arizonas Tobias Rieder became the first German-born player to score in his NHL debut since Marco Sturm did it for San Jose on Oct. 4, 1997. ... Toronto (3-1) lost for the first time on Tuesday this season. ... The Coyotes and Maple Leafs will meet again in Toronto on Jan. 29. ' ' '
